WHAT IS A DIV?

A Div is our version of a souped-up, fully optimized co-op, or fractional ownership. It is when multiple people own a fraction or a share of something that might only use occasionally. a Div allows you to divvy up ownership and divide the cost with others, giving you a safe and inexpensive way to get exactly what you want at just a fraction of the cost!

WHAT CAN I DIV?

There's almost no limit to the types of things that can be put into a Div. Whether it's a boat, ATV, vacation home, plane, construction equipment, yacht, land, jewelry, personal chef, season tickets... well, you get the idea. As long as it's legal and others are interested in the the same thing, then Div away! It’s all part of the fun of DivCity.

SO, HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

1. Join or create a Div using the DivCity app.
2. Between using our simple tools to tap into your vast social network and our intuitive DivMatch™ system, DivCity makes it easy for you to find friends and other like-minded people to join your new Div.
3. DivCity Takes care of all the hard stuff so you don't have to. We help you with legal, storage, maintenance, and even insurance. Once you have picked the perfect Div, we help create a trust that not only allows you to own the just the portion that's right for you, but that also gives DivCity the ability to help with enforcing the terms and conditions of your new Div.
4. Once all the remaining DivShares have been filled and paid for, DivCity will purchase and deliver your exciting new Div to the designated storage facility. We also make sure that all the details have been taken care of for insurance, storage, maintenance, repairs, scheduling, etc.
5. Sit back and bask in the knowledge that your pricey new Div wasn't actually pricey at all. You now get the awesome benefits of ownership without sacrificing any of the convenience - all while paying just a fraction of the price!

WHEN CAN I USE MY DIV?

Each Div has its own terms and conditions, and a calendar will be available to view prior to joining the Div. Say you own 25% of a boat Div (meaning you probably own the boat with three others) — then you’ll have three months of use per year ! It is up to you and the person who created the Div whether these months are all at once, or spread out throughout the year.

DO I OWN MY DIV?

Absolutely! Unlike timeshares where you merely buy time, with DivCity you own your product and you get all the perks that come along with ownership!

WHY SHOULD I USE DIVCITY, INSTEAD OF CREATING MY OWN CO-OP?

WHY SHOULD I JOIN A DIV, INSTEAD OF RENTING?

Here is the beauty of the Div. DivCity makes protection easy, equal ownership possible, purchasing convenient, insuring doable, maintenance automatic, and full-throttle fun a fraction of the price. Done right, this is not as easy as it sounds. DivCity has devoted time and resources to this Shockville experience as a gift to you. Our goal is to make you a well protected, fervent fan of fun for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately, all the alternatives to DivCity leave you exposed to liability with limited independence, or paying the full price yourself (not fun in my book).

CAN I BUY MORE SHARES THAN OTHER IN A GIVEN DIV?

Yes. Each Div has a certain number of allotted shares. You can choose if you would like 1, 2, or even 3 fractional shares to own. This is the heart of DivCity. You create and join Divs on your own terms. You only buy what you want, when you want it. With DivCity, never pay full price again. And never, ever purchase more than what you will actually use. Isn’t that swell?

WHAT IF SOMEONE IN THE DIV CAUSES DAMAGE?

If it is accidental, insurance will cover it. If it is due to faulty parts, the warrantee will cover it. If it is due to neglect, the member of the Div who caused the damage will assume liability and pay for it.
